Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Nest and Feathers Life Ltd (company number 17272150) ("we", "us") when you use Nest and Feathers (the "service"). By creating a nest or using the service, you accept them.

Who can use it.

You must be 18 or over and using the service on behalf of your own family. One nest per family.

The service.

Nest and Feathers helps families discover and share good places to take their children. It is currently free for families. We may change, add or remove features, and will try to give notice of significant changes.

Your account.

Keep your details accurate and your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Your content.

The feathers, reviews, tips and photos you add are yours, and you keep ownership. By posting them you give us a licence to display and use them within the service (including showing a review to the business it concerns). You confirm that what you post is yours to share, that you have the right to any photos you upload, and that you have permission to share images of any people in them.

What we ask of you.

Be kind, honest and lawful. In particular: keep the focus on places, not on identifying details about your own or anyone else's children; do not upload clear photographs of children's faces or share a child's full name, school or sensitive information; do not post anything abusive, dishonest, unlawful or infringing; do not post about other people's children; and do not use the service to advertise or spam.

Moderation.

We moderate content to keep the platform safe and useful. We may review, and where necessary hide or remove, content and accounts. We may correct factual details such as a category or place name; we do not rewrite your own words.

Leaving a feather.

You can withdraw from your own feathers. If others have already relied on a feather (verified it), we remove your identity from it but keep an anonymised record, so the shared map is not broken. This is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Businesses.

Businesses can claim and pay for an enhanced listing. Pricing, what is included, billing, renewal and cancellation are set out at sign-up and in any separate business terms. A listing is a way to be found by families; we do not guarantee any particular number of visitors, enquiries or results.

Things we cannot promise.

The service is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it running and accurate, but we do not guarantee it will always be available or error-free, and we are not responsible for the accuracy of content posted by members or for the venues and third parties that families choose to visit. Families make their own decisions about where to go, and are responsible for their own and their children's safety. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it (for example for death or personal injury caused by our negligence). Otherwise, so far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses.

Ending things.

You can delete your nest at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken.

Law.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.

Changes and contact.
