Feathers
The places families discover and share
A Feather is any place or experience a family wants to pass on: a hidden forest trail, an atmospheric museum, a beautiful nature reserve, a child-friendly cafe, a secluded beach. Anywhere that you've loved as a family, can become a feather for others to enjoy.
Feathers live on a shared map, pinned to their exact location and described by the families who have been there. Add the category, the age range, any honest tips to help the next family. Others will discover it and, when they have visited too, they can add their own review, earning that Feather a verified by families badge.
Over time, each family builds an archive of their own adventures, a living record that grows as their children do for everywhere they have been and everything they have loved.

A Nest is your family's profile, your home within the community. It is where your story lives: who you are, where you go, and what you love.
Your Nest is also where your journey is kept. Other families can see your Feathers and read your story, and you can browse theirs too, filtering by region or shared interests, allowing you to find families who feel like kindred spirits.
As your family contributes Feathers and verifications to the community, your Nest earns recognition through milestones badges.

What families build together, over years
The Flock is every family on here, and what they've collectively worked out. A family with teenagers knows things a family with a newborn is about to spend five years learning. Which places are worth it before they can walk, which ones work with a range of ages, which work just as well in the rain as they do in the sun.
That knowledge usually disappears when children grow out of it. Here, it stays, and it passes forward. Join as a new parent and you're inheriting from the families who went before you. Move somewhere new and the families already there have been building your map for years without knowing it.
